Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for an Azure Data Architect to join their team. This person will be assisting the team to create a data warehouse back bone from end-to-end and working with the Data Engineers and Data Scientists to streamline all processes. Duties will involve designing large interrelated systems with complex business logic using Data Mesh, hands on position that requires developer mentoring, POC work, speaking with users, gather requirements, utilizing Azure Databricks, and working with ETL tools. Both verbal and written communication is a must as this person will be required to work with multiple teams throughout the organization. Ideal candidate will be a serial documenter of systems in addition to the design work. This position will be onsite 5 days a week and will have a pay rate of $90-$100/hour.

Skills and Requirements

Strong background in Azure Services and Azure DevOps, Databricks, Azure Data Factory

Data Mesh or experience designing large interrelated systems with complex business logic. Will need to become an expert in the business domain.

Excellent communication skills. Will be a hands-on position that requires developer mentoring, POC work, speaking with users, gather requirements, etc No PowerPoint architects

Excellent debugging skills, especially remote debugging, meaningful log creation and analysis. ASP.Net
