Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. As a Teamcenter System Administrator, you will be installing, and deploying PLM integrated software on AWS infrastructure to support Project Kuiper internal business teams across multiple locations and provide user support. The desire and ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment is essential.
Key job responsibilities
- Install and configure application and infrastructure on multiple environments
- Install Teamcenter server components that includes but not limited to Pool managers, FMS servers, web servers, Active workspace, and Visualization, with failover and high availability
- Apply application & infrastructure patches on test, Pre-production and Production Server
- Upgrade Teamcenter to keep the System to latest Siemens supported version and patches
- Provide PLM production and business support to address day to day issues related to TC installation, integrations, workflows, data, user creation, access control, and user management
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings

About the team
As part of Kuiper Enterprise Technology team you will further deepen your technical expertise and proficiency in systems administration, navigate operational challenges of a highly available system under load, and hone your skills as a leader and communicator. You will collaborate with and learn from some of the strongest software, security, and infrastructure engineers in the industry, and leverage Amazon's ample resources to innovate on behalf of our customers.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years in installation, administration, and implementation on PLM technologies, preferably on Siemens Teamcenter and AWC
- 3+ years of industry experience in implementing complex IT systems at scale preferably on AWS platform
- Worked on at least one(1) project involving end to end Teamcenter installation with high availability, and two (2) projects involving end to end Teamcenter upgrade in large enterprise
- Experience with Software Configuration Management (SCM) using GitHub or other.
- Worked on at least 1 project involving Teamcenter and CAD user support
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in using system and data integration technologies (middleware), and MCAD/ ECAD integration
• Experience in server-side development using ITK, and configuration using Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE)
• Working knowledge of developing software using multi-tier architecture and using API and web services
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
• Good working knowledge of Teamcenter applications: My Teamcenter, Workflow Designer, Structure Manager, Change Management, Query Builder, Access Manager, Organization, and Reporting.
• Experience developing application on AWS Cloud using AWS API, and technologies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
