Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, modern data solutions through collaboration with our engineering, analytics, and product teams in a fast-paced, agile environment. Leveraging cutting-edge technology, you will play a pivotal role in reimagining healthcare delivery. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, integrating, and implementing innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and unit testing of new or existing ETL/Data Integration solutions to meet business requirements.

Production Support: Provide daily production support for the Enterprise Data Warehouse, including ETL/ELT jobs.

Data Flow Management: Develop and lead data flows and processes for the Data Warehouse using SQL Server and Azure Synapse.

Data Integration: Oversee the development of data integration workflows using web services in XML, JSON, flat file formats, and REST.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including the Product, Data, and Design teams, to address data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

Application Delivery: Enhance productivity and effectiveness through the rapid delivery of high-quality applications.

Skills and Requirements

8-10+ years of experience in Data Engineer roles, with at least one role as a lead

Proven experience in ETL/Data Integration development and unit testing.

Strong expertise in SQL Server and Azure Synapse

Proficiency in developing data integration workflows using web services (XML, JSON, flat file formats, REST).

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide production support for data warehouses.

Effective collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. Experience in the healthcare industry.

Familiarity with agile methodologies.

Knowledge of additional data integration tools and technologies. null
