    Job Description

    An Insight Global client is seeking a skilled Fullstack Software Engineer to join us

     

    remotely. As part of a globally distributed team of software engineers, quality engineer and UX designer, youll work on a diverse set of corporate training platforms.

     

    Youll work across the full stack, leveraging technologies like Python, Django REST API, GraphQL, ReactJS, Typescript, Elasticsearch, OpenShift, ArgoCD, and Tekton.

     

    In this role, youll have the opportunity to enhance the customer learning experience on the training

     

    platforms through work areas such as

     

    Modernizing front-end components using ReactJs, Typescript and system libraries like PatternFly

     

    Maintaining and enhancing backend functionality with Python (Django Rest api).

     

    Streamline CI/CD workflows and automation with ArgoCD and Tekton on Openshift

     

    Refactoring legacy AngularJS applications into ReactJS.

     

    Expanding test coverage with Selenium and other test automation tools.

    Primary responsibilities:

    Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and UX designers to deliver innovative features.

     

    Design, develop, and maintain codebases using Python, ReactJS, and related technologies.

     

    Turn wireframes and mock-ups into reusable, scalable UI components.

     

    Enhance code quality, eliminate inconsistencies, and contribute to continuous improvement.

     

    Fix bugs, update, and maintain existing projects.

     

    Drive application development and integration across learning platforms.

     

    Promote and implement best practices, including code reviews and test development.

     

    Participate in sprint planning, daily scrums, and team meetings to ensure alignment.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Proven experience in application development with Python and ReactJs

     

    Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS, with experience in TypeScript.

     

    Experience with JavaScript libraries such as Bootstrap and Patternfly.

     

    Hands-on experience with testing practices, including unit testing.

     

    Working knowledge of containerized environments using Docker or Podman.

     

    Experience with SCM tools like GitHub or GitLab.

     

    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting.

     

    Capability to articulate and address technical problems collaboratively with the team.

     

    Understanding of version control, Agile practices, and kanban-based workflows. Knowledge of end-to-end testing frameworks such as Selenium.

     

    OpenShift administration and GitOps workflows.

     

    Familiarity with GraphQL and Elasticsearch is a plus.

     

    Experience implementing responsive design and adhering to accessibility standards. null
