About these roles:
Wells Fargo is seeking two Senior Lead Risk Analytics Consultants for their Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) group in Corporate Risk.
**Strategy & Reporting Role:** This individual will oversee the CIB Strategic Plan, support various senior management reporting, and perform other critical risk management activities.
This role will include partnering with CIB Front Line, Control, and Independent Risk Management (IRM) teams at a senior level in providing critical insight towards enhancing the risk and control framework and critically challenging the business to ensure appropriate risk taking as CIB continues to evolve.
**Governance & Regulatory Engagement Role:** This individual will manage regulatory engagement and deliverables, governance, and other critical risk management activities.
This role will include partnering with CIB Front Line, Control, and Independent Risk Management (IRM) teams at a senior level in providing critical insight towards enhancing the risk and control framework as well as ensuring robust risk governance and regulatory engagement execution.
In this role, you will:
Strategy & Reporting Role:
+ Manage the CIB Strategic Plan Oversight Process, including discussion and resolution of action items to enhance the risk management capabilities of CIB and IRM. This will include partnering with CIB Front Line, Control, and IRM teams at a senior level in providing critical insight with respect to the risk and control framework as well as balancing the risk and return profile of CIB.
+ Manage and support CIB / CIB Risk Board Deliverables and Assessments, including discussion and collaboration with senior management, articulating complex issues into simple solution oriented and risk aware solutions.
+ Initiative-taker with ability to pivot as needed on high priority deliverables and a strong learner and collaborator.
+ Lead the strategy and resolution of complex and unique challenges requiring strategic, analytical, inductive thinking, and performance monitoring.
+ Engage with all levels of professionals and leaders companywide, including CIB Front Line, Control, CIB Risk Organization, Business Aligned IRM, Finance, and LOBs.
+ Solve problems using data and business knowledge.
+ Analyze the impact of changes to existing risk and control framework
+ Enhance data and reporting processes and controls that are impactful to managing the accuracy and completeness of our reporting.
+ Collaborate and consult with peers, less experienced to more experienced managers, to resolve production, project, and other issues.
+ Demonstrate appropriate risk management and leadership behaviors in support of doing what is right for the customer, people as a competitive advantage, ethics, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
+ Present to senior management and key stakeholders.
+ Promote a strong risk management culture and discipline.

+ Manage / contribute on Regulatory Examinations and Key Deliverables, including leading examination preparation, drafting response narrative, obtaining appropriate exam artifacts, and providing holistic insight to risk manage exam outcomes.
+ Support CIB / CIB Risk Governance, including discussion and collaboration with senior management to highlight critical topics for various governance forums, drafting materials and integrating feedback as appropriate.

Required Qualifications:
+ 7+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ Background in the banking / trading businesses and risk management.
+ Proven track record of driving the execution of large, complex initiatives.
+ Proven communication skills with the ability to influence, develop, partner, and collaborate at all levels within the organization.
+ Ability to decompose complex issues, understand risks and integration/interdependency of risks, and drive to timely decisions.
+ Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy combine with ability to solve conceptual challenges.
+ Excellent collaboration skills with history of success within a matrixed environment.
+ Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
+ Additional desired qualifications as defined by each role:

Job Expectations:
+ This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule.
