POSITION DESCRIPTION Provide Environmental Compliance oversight and guidance for the White Wing Scrapyard remediation, Heritage Center Zone 2 Soilts, Heritage Center Closure, and other new projects, as needed. This is a deployed EC position with an office at Heritage Center. Typical Duties include: Provide Guidance on installation and maintenance of erosion prevention and sediment controls. Prepare contamination migration control plans or stormwater pollution prevention plans; conduct inspections. Identify and mark environmentally sensitve areas that must not be distubred. Inspect work areas post-vegetation clearing to determine if additional erosion prevention and sediment controls are needed. Attend daily project meetings to coordinate field and sampling activities. Perform routine compliance inspections related to NPDES permit, SPCC plan, and waste management areas. Participate in the work control process, providing field oversight. Education and Experience: Bachelor s degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree is desired. Responsibilities: Provide complex technical environmental support. Manages environmental programs and issues for a major project phase. Provides environmental services and oversight to projects and operations, coordinates projects and environmental regulatory interactions, and sets overall environmental strategy and policy. Acts as SME as needed Presents and recommends solutions to policy level envionrmental issues. Ensures projects acheive environmental compliance and stewardship.
