    The Field Service Operations Professional for the North America Region Field Service Tooling department has various responsibilities in managing the day-to-day Field Service Tooling department, including logistics shipping domestically and internationally. This position requires skills to meet the needs of our service operation field service teams, ensuring efficiency to match customer demand. Curiosity is valued in this role.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    + Responsible for Field Service Tooling business operations and support.

    + Tooling and operations supporting Field Service, finance, and operations planning, with responsibilities including building efficiencies into the operation process.

    + Manage capital assets and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

    + Logistics lead for asset movement both domestic and international.

    + Special projects manager working in conjunction with the asset manager.

    What You Bring

    + Bachelor’s degree preferred; or have a high school diploma and 5+ years of experience in field service tooling and continuous improvement and change management, with experience in managing people. Technical experience related to gas turbines; compressors preferred.

    + Ability to work across multiple product lines in a changing environment. 15-20% travel required.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets and databases.

    + Strong interpersonal skills are required to maintain the full-service environment with stakeholders. Strong IT background preferred, especially related to database structures.

    + Good financial acumen, including capital project creation, invoicing, contract management, and managing and establishing tooling costs.

    + Candidate must be 21 years old and have a current and valid driver's license that isn’t revoked or suspended in any U.S. state, district, or territory and eligible to drive a company vehicle daily. Must be able to rent a vehicle. Have the ability to drive and operate a forklift and obtain a forklift license. Proficient in Microsoft Excel in creating and managing spreadsheets and databases.

     

    Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without needing current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfer.
