This position will be responsible for tracking warehouse stock. Perform as an assistant to the Senior Material Handler/Water Spider, staging materials for bulk production value streams and returning material to the warehouse after production is complete . The Material Handler/Water Spiders will also be responsible for the cycle counting process and maintain organization across all material storage locations in the Saegertown facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

+ · Promote proactive safety culture

+ · Maintain accurate quality records

+ · Assist the Senior Water Spiders staging materials for each production HPT and returning material to the warehouse after production is complete

+ · Ability to operate all material handling equipment including forklift

+ · Ability to prioritize production schedule and determine where material is needed

+ · Work 12-hour day or night shift

+ · The ability to safely lift up to 55 pounds

+ · Perform the weekly cycle counts and other ad hoc counts as needed to support inventory accuracy

+ · Maintain plantwide 5S expectations

+ · Demonstrated problem solving skills

+ · Willing to cross-train and perform rotating tasks

+ · Availability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, and evenings

+ · Be a positive HPT member that promotes continuous improvement

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to obtain forklift certification

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must be able to follow set schedule
