    Here is what you will be doing

     

    + Daily unloading of crude oil trains, Understand and follow operating procedures and policies, Learn to operate railcar loading systems and equipment, Perform work safely and productively, Cross train on all functions at facility, Strong work ethic, Is not afraid to ask questions, Attention to detail

    + Accurately fill out all necessary paperwork, Enforce safety policies and procedures with other employees and visitors, Ability to perform general maintenance on equipment, Assist with other duties within the facility (general maintenance, landscape, upkeep, and painting)

    + Interact with customers, railroad crews, other Team Members, and visitors, and understand customer needs

    + Ability to work rotating shifts & set schedules (days, nights, weekends, & holidays)

     

    Requirements of a successful Transload Operator

     

    + High School Diploma or GED equivalent

    + For safety reasons, you must be able to read, write, understand, and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English

    + Basic math skills, Computer skills (light data entry)

    + Valid Driver's License and able to get a TWIC card

    + Capable to learn how to operate and maintain railcar/trans loading equipment (e.g., Hoses, portable conveyors, transfer pumps, portable stair systems, small to medium sized equipment, etc.), Ability and willingness to travel to other transload terminals to assist when necessary; may be for up to a week at a time

     

    Here are some of the physical requirements for this role

     

    + Work outside in ALL weather conditions (snow, rain, sub-freezing & hot temps)

    + Physically able to climb up and down railcars/ladders safely

    + Work with liquid hazardous and dry bulk materials

    + Receive general safety training
