    Position: Physical Therapist - Ortho/Oncology

     

    Schedule:** **Full time, includes some evenings until 8 pm and a rotating Saturday

     

    Compensation: Salary starting at $80,000, commensurate with experience

     

    Incentives: Up to $20k sign on bonus and/or indefinite student debt program

     

    NovaCare in Mitchellville is seeking a full time physical therapist passionate about serving people affected by cancer to join our team as part of our growing ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation program.Our large clinical team treats a diverse population of teens through geriatrics and offers a broad spectrum of specialty services including, but not limited to; general orthopedics, sports medicine, gait and balance, chronic pain, and industrial rehabilitative services. We are a fast-paced ortho center in need of a flexible and dynamic clinician ready to jump in to serve our community, especially our motivated geriatric patients.Interest in cancer rehab required, experience preferred. Interest/experience in lymphedema is a plus! Caseload will be a mix of ortho and oncology.     Responsibilities

    + Maintain open and respectful communication with all parties

    + Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing PTs

    + Complete and maintain required trainings

    + Maintain compliance with government regulations

    + Evaluate, treat and direct treatment for patients

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy

    + Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice

    + CPR certified

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience

    + Lymphedema interest/experience
