    Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations — Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York.

     

    Summary Provides for EKG testing, Holter hook-up and scanning analysis, stress testing, transtelephonic arrhythmia detection and pacemaker analysis under the general supervision of management staff and upon request of a physician to a specific group of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patients consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Department and Hospital Administration. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to age of patient served on nursing unit or by patient care departments.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

     

    Experience: Minimum of 1 year relevant Cardiology experience in all aspects of cardiac diagnostic testing. Must have completed Coronary Care Course or equivalent program.

     

    License: N/A

    PHYSICAL AND MENTAL FACTORS

    Physical: Regular and routine exposure to a variety of unpleasant physical working conditions, and frequent exposure to injury or occupational or contagious disease hazards which requires routine precautions.
