    Job Description:

    * Must have an active (or ability to obtain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Clearance *

    *This position is contingent upon contract award*

     

    The Messenger Courier is responsible for the hand-carry transportation and secure delivery of documents, mail, and small packages within and between government facilities. This position plays a critical support role in ensuring operational continuity through timely and secure message distribution. Duties require high attention to detail, familiarity with facility protocols, and the ability to interact professionally with both internal staff and external contacts.

     

    • Perform scheduled and on-demand pickup and delivery of mail, documents, and small parcels between designated offices and facilities

    • Maintain strict chain of custody protocols and documentation for sensitive or time-critical materials

    • Utilize manual and/or electronic tracking systems to log deliveries and maintain accurate records

    • Interact with facility security personnel for access control and routing as needed

    • Ensure items are delivered in accordance with facility and program-specific handling instructions

    • Report delivery issues, delays, or security concerns to supervisors promptly

    • Assist with mailroom and administrative duties during periods of low courier demand

    • Other duties as assigned
