    Job Title: Senior Developer (Multiple Positions)

     

    Job Location: 275 Seventh Avenue, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10001.

     

    May work from home up to two (2) days per week.

     

    JOB DUTIES: Responsible for the day-to-day support of all application software within Amalgamated Bank’s overall portfolio; analyze, troubleshoot, and debug all application software concerns, issues, and problems; develop and implement resolutions and remediation; in-depth analysis of Business Requirements documentation and translate requirements into documented Functional Requirements; partner with business stakeholders to solidify aforementioned requirements; perform all in-house coding for any existing and/or new application software, per overall requirements, invoking and adhering to IT’s standard DevOps SDLC and Secure SDLC procedures, including all source/version control, unit testing, and systems integration testing; partner with any 3rd party vendors for the successful implementation and support of any 3rd party vendor application or process, as well as outsourced or staff-augmented vendors who are developing an application or systems product or solution for Amalgamated Bank; manage and develop the overall migration, consolidation, and/or retirement of all old deprecated applications, processes, and technologies to newer versions leveraging modern-based technologies; continued adherence to all IT General Controls, Information Security and Data Loss Prevention, Audit, Compliance, and Regulatory policies and procedures as applicable to Amalgamated Bank

     

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology or related technology field and (i) working knowledge of the following: .NET coding development for C# or Visual Basic .NET, HTML5/CSS3, ASP.NET framework, Microsoft SQL Server, front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and API coding; (ii) an understanding of accessibility, security, and auditing compliance; (iii) knowledge of user and system security authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments; (iv) an understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms and optimizing output to match the specific platform; proficient understanding of source code/versioning tools; (v) familiarity with support of Dynamic Link and Object Relational Mapper (ORM) libraries; (vi) an understanding of multiple data source integration into singular system and data-modelling schemas that represent and support business processes; (vii) familiarity with architecture styles and REST API; and (viii) an understanding of Agile methodologies. May work from home up to two (2) days per week

     

    WAGE/HOURS: Wage range is $95,493.00 per year to $195,000.00 per year (M-F/Full-Time: 40 hours/week)
