**Pay Range:** $57.36 - $96.37 per hour

Summary:
Job **Summary:**
The Director of University Clinical Placements facilitates and coordinates the university-wide efforts to identify and develop student clinical placements. The Director oversees the planning/direction of outreach efforts for new sites, develops and maintains all relevant databases and inventories of placements and clinical contracts, and ensures alignment with university strategies. The Director collaborates with the three college deans or their designates, faculty and staff, and other organizational partners on efforts to identify and facilitate additional clinical learning /preceptorships/ and clinical sites. The individual who holds this position exemplifies the Rush mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures. This role reports to the Provost of the University. Required Job Qualifications:
• Master’s degree required;
• 5 years progressively responsible experience in management of business relationships, healthcare administration, and/or healthcare affiliation coordination.
• Strong evidence-based analytical approach to problem-solving with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate work groups and both elicit and present data and ideas to diverse groups.
• Ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives, and exercise judgment based on an understanding of organizational policies and activities.
• Ability to integrate resources, policies, and information for the determination of procedures, solutions, and other outcomes.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Doctorate preferred

Responsibilities:
Job **Responsibilities:**
• In coordination with each College and RUMG, monitors internal clinical site/placement needs and external trends for key programs across all Colleges in the University.
• Consult with and advise University leadership and Deans of the Colleges of Health Sciences, Nursing, and Medicine regarding clinical site/placement needs and strategies to increase the quantity of clinical site/placement rotations for Rush University students.
• Develop systems to support the growth and expansion of clinical sites/placement on behalf of all Colleges in the University.
• Established and maintained a University Clinical Site/Placement database to generate various College and University reports.
• Build strategic relationships to identify and engage internal and external partners to improve the availability of clinical site/placement rotations.
• Identify opportunities for coordination of affiliation agreements or similar documents to ensure clinical site/placement needs of each College are addressed.
