Job Overview:

The Project Coordinator, Special Events will assist the Special Events Director in the planning and implementation of all special events and projects.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ Bachelor's Degree required

Preferred:

+ 1-2 years relevant work experience

Essential Functions:

+ Planning and implementation of special events including A Reason to Walk and Valor Awards. This includes creating timelines, budgets and marketing materials, overseeing event committee, managing vendor relationships and soliciting support for the event. Assist with the planning and implementation of signature fundraising events Friends of Cooperman Barnabas Golf Classic, Annual Golf Outing, Miracle Walk, and others.

+ Assist with the planning and oversee logistics of cultivation events.

+ Oversees fundraising initiatives for the Employee Campaign.

+ Responsible for ordering promotional items for events, signage and other publicity related materials.

+ Supports administrative functions associated to special events (third party events) by creating web pages for various events and posting sponsors on the specific event pages and assisting with updating social media pages.

+ Coordinate all of the event pages on department website prior to and following the event (invitations, sponsorship forms, sponsor logos, videos and pictures).

+ Submit raffle license and follow up with raffle report of operations after event concludes.

+ Provide backup support to Development Associate as needed.
