Job Overview:

The Medical Technologist performs clinical laboratory testing according to established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ Bachelor's Degree

Scheduling Requirements:

+ Primarily day 6-2:30pm, may support evening shift 2-10:30pm

+ Part-Time

Essential Functions:

+ Perform clinical laboratory testing according to established policies and procedures

+ Report all test results promptly, accurately, and efficiently to the patient's caregiver in order to assist with diagnosis and treatment

+ Maintain quality assurance and quality control policies and procedures to ensure validity of test results

+ Utilize critical thinking skills to solve problems, evaluate aberrant patient results and recognize factors that may affect measurements and results

+ Consistently follow all required laboratory safety and chemical hygiene plans to ensure a safe working environment
