    Description

    Join a leading company in the food processing industry as a Corporate Tax Staff Accountant on a contract basis. Based in Eagle, Idaho, you’ll support tax compliance and provisions across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.

    Key Duties:

    + Prepare federal, state, and local income tax filings

    + Calculate estimated tax liabilities and manage extensions

    + Support quarterly/annual tax provisions (ASC 740)

    + Respond to tax notices and maintain compliance calendars

    + Assist with tax close processes and SOX documentation

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field

    + 2+ years of corporate tax experience (public or private)

    + Familiarity with ASC 740 and multi-state tax compliance

    + Strong Excel skills and experience with tax software (e.g., OneSource, Corptax)

    + CPA or progress toward certification a plus
