Position Summary
Responsible for the successful design and delivery of data environment integrating data from multiple data sources such as ATV, Medcompass, CRD, CEE etc. Interacts directly with internal customers and colleagues to understand data requirement in order to support re‐porting and analytics solutions. This position requires an individual with a balance of techni‐cal and business acumen. Provides mentoring to other team members.
- Evaluate the data and analytic needs of assigned projects and assure the integrity of the data.
- Perform extensive data validation and testing in a complex environment that utilizes multi‐ple databases.
- Develops, validates, and executes complex queries, develops complex reports, and per‐forms complex data analysis that answers business questions for internal customers; inter‐prets results, and makes recommendations to business areas based on fi ndings.
- Ability to manage confl icting priorities and multiple projects concurrently
- Willingness to understand and probe into technical details.
- Contributes to a motivated work environment by working effectively to achieve common goals
- Troubleshoots technical details / issues.
- Presents analysis and reports to internal customers and stakeholders.
- Acts as a mentor to other analysts
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of Experience with GCP Big Query, SQL Server or similar databases
- 5 years of 1 or more analytic programming tools, methods, and platforms for reporting, scripting, and/or ETL needs, including Python, Alteryx, SAS, SSIS, etc.
- Experience working with large data sets from multiple data sources and understanding of relational databases, data systems and data warehouses, to include data modeling for opti‐mal business intelligence solutions development.
- Demonstrated ability to infl uence leaders and peers through use of data-driven insights
- Extensive experience with databases as well interpretation and manipulation of related data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare industry Experience; Payor Experience; Managed Care Experience
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Clinical Platforms (ATV, Medcompass, Salesforce/Health Cloud)
- 7 or more years’ experience with a combination of one or more of the following skillsets: advanced programming and data transformation skills (e.g., SAS, SQL, HQL, Python, R, etc.) using large data warehouse environments **AND/OR** advanced reporting automation and business intelligence development skills (e.g., Excel/Access/VBA, Visual Studio/SSIS, Alteryx, etc.) **AND/OR** advanced data visualization and dashboard development skills (e.g., Power BI / Tableau). SAS experience is a plus.
- Experience working with large data sets from multiple data sources and understanding of relational databases, data systems, and data warehouses.
Education
- Bachelors degree required
- Masters Preferred
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$67,900.00 - $149,328.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
