    Description

    Excellent opportunity to join a Publicly Traded Life Sciences Company in the Billerica area in need of a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant in a newly created position will report into the Accounting Manager and will work closely with Senior Leadership team. The Senior Accountant is responsible for preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, managing fixed assets and assisting with audit preparations. BS Degree required, MBA or CPA preferred with 5 years of experience in accounting or finance. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance along with advanced Excel skills required and ability to work with large volumes of transactional data. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Life Sciences Company with excellent technology, built out for expansion offering future growth opportunities.     Requirements

    BS Degree in Finance or Accounting required, MBA or CPA preferred

     

    Manufacturing Industry experience highly desired.

     

    Strong GAAP, SOX compliance, fixed assets exp.
