Accountant - Accounting Manager Realestate/Developer

Schedule: M-F Standard Business Hours

Salary $80-$120,000 depending on level of experience

Bonus Generous Discretionary Annual Bonus and additional upon completion of projects

The ideal candidate is seeking a growth opportunity with a succession plan to CFO. And is Bilingual in both English and Spanish.

Company Overview: Developer that partners with top brand name Realestate companies in Luxury residential, commercial and mixed-use projects.

Keys to this role:

+ Degree in Accounting or Finance

+ Proficiency with Excel and QuickBooks

+ Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish

+ Real Estate industry is a plus - not required

Controller - Accountant duties include but are not limited to accounting, financial reporting and review of partnership and investor reports:

+ entries, bank reconciliation of multiple accounts and heavy intercompany transactions

+ account analysis and of transfers and of loans and cash flow

+ financial statements preparation, month end

+ quarterly budget review and forecasts

+ cash flow and return on investments reporting and disbursements

+ federal and state tax reporting

+ other collaboration with VP, CFO and Executive Leadership on asset meetings and such

+ Ability to communicate inboth English and Spanish

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to real estate or developer industries as a plus.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills.

• Any experience with investor reports and K1s is a plus

• Experience managing intercompany transactions and preparing financial statements.

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a small, dynamic team environment.
