    Description

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, managing data infrastructure, and supporting analytics initiatives across the organization. You’ll work closely with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure data is clean, accessible, and actionable.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to process structured and unstructured data

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and implement reliable data solutions

    + Build and manage data models, warehouses, and data lakes on cloud and/or on-prem platforms

    + Ensure high data quality and integrity through testing, validation, and monitoring

    + Optimize database performance and storage efficiency

    + Support data governance and security initiatives

    + Document data processes, workflows, and architecture for transparency and scalability

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field

    + 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role

    + Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with scripting languages such as Python or Scala

    + Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data services (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse)

    + Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks)

    + Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow, dbt, or Azure Data Factory

    + Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with real-time data processing tools (e.g., Kafka, Spark Streaming)

    + Familiarity with data privacy regulations and governance practices

    + Knowledge of BI tools like Power BI or Tableau

    + Exposure to containerization (Docker) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
