    Description

    Robert Half Management Resources is in search of a Senior Accounting Consultant to join our team in Irvine, California. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Senior Accounting Consultant, you will be tasked with managing a variety of accounting functions, including inventory and fixed assets, as well as commissions and account reconciliations. Your skills in using Excel formulas and VBA will be critical to your success in this role.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage inventory accounting procedures

    • Handle accounting for fixed assets

    • Manage and process commissions

    • Conduct thorough account reconciliations

    • Utilize Excel formulas and VBA for various accounting tasks

    • Maintain and update accurate accounting records

    • Resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues

    • Monitor and track commissions accounting processes

    • Ensure accrual accounting procedures are followed accurately

    • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions

    Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of accounting

    • Proven expertise in various accounting functions

    • Proficiency in accrual accounting

    • Experience with fixed asset accounting

    • Knowledge of handling commissions and commissions accounting

    • Demonstrated ability in inventory accounting

    • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel

    • Experience in using Excel Formulas

    • Familiarity with Excel VBA

    • A bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Excellent attention to detail

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
