Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review detailed tax returns for individuals, corporations, and other entities across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.

• Conduct in-depth tax planning and research to optimize efficiency and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.

• Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and mitigate compliance risks.

• Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete.

• Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions in alignment with relevant accounting standards.

• Monitor changes in tax laws and industry practices to provide informed recommendations and solutions.

• Collaborate with departments such as finance, legal, and accounting to address tax-related issues effectively.

• Mentor and guide less experienced team members, fostering their growth and development within the tax function.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of tax operations.

• Provide senior leadership with regular updates on tax strategies, risks, and compliance matters.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in tax preparation, compliance, or advisory roles, ideally within public accounting or corporate tax.
