Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal with a strong background in commercial real estate to join a law firm in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing real estate transactions, ensuring accuracy in documentation, and supporting the legal team through various stages of property closings. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to complex legal matters in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

• Prepare and review legal documents related to commercial real estate transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Examine and edit title and survey documents to identify and address any discrepancies.

• Oversee the closing process, managing tasks from pre-closing preparations to post-closing follow-ups.

• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.

• Maintain organized records of all transaction-related documents and correspondence.

• Conduct research on legal matters and provide support to attorneys as needed.

• Assist in resolving issues that arise during the transaction process, ensuring timely resolutions.

• Monitor project timelines and ensure all deadlines are met efficiently.

• Provide administrative support to the legal team, including drafting correspondence and managing schedules.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in commercial real estate.

• Proficiency in handling pre-closing, closing, and post-closing tasks for real estate transactions.

• Strong knowledge of title and survey review processes.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in legal documentation.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

• Proficiency in legal research and administrative support.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
