Description We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our non-profit organization in New York, New York. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and clarity.

• Collaborate with the FP& A team to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.

• Utilize Financial Edge and Vena reporting software to streamline and enhance reporting efficiency.

• Apply advanced Excel skills, including formulas and filters, to manage complex financial data.

• Contribute to the development of strategic insights through detailed financial analysis and reporting.

• Work closely with team members and management to provide actionable recommendations based on financial trends.

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and external regulations in all financial activities.

• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or a related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.

• Hands-on experience with Financial Edge and Vena reporting software.

• Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP& A) processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with a team-oriented mindset.

• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and handle multiple priorities.
