Description We are recruiting a Sr. Financial Analyst to become part of our manufacturing team based in BAYPORT, Minnesota, United States. The Sr. Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the financial planning, investment analysis, and process improvements of our Information Technology function. This role is an excellent opportunity to apply your financial expertise to optimize our technology investments and ensure they align with our overall financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial planning and analysis for our IT department, aligning them with our corporate objectives.

• Collaborate with the IT and finance teams to improve financial processes, enhancing accuracy and reducing cycle times.

• Develop and monitor key performance indicators to assess the financial performance of IT initiatives and projects.

• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

• Work closely with the business to perform financial analyses of proposed IT tools and technology stack investments, evaluating their potential return on investment and strategic fit.

• Identify and implement strategies to optimize costs within IT operations without compromising service quality.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on the account status.

• Utilize various tools and techniques such as Business systems, Confluence, CRM, Crystal Reports, Data Mining Techniques, About Time, Accounting Functions, Auditing, Budget Processes, and Capital Management to perform your duties effectively. Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

• Proficient in business systems, with a focus on efficiency and streamlining processes.

• Demonstrated experience with Confluence software is required.

• Must have practical experience in utilizing CRM systems for data management and analysis.

• Proficiency in Crystal Reports for creating, maintaining, and managing reports is necessary.

• Ability to apply data mining techniques for uncovering patterns and correlations in large volumes of data.

• Familiarity with the About Time software for workforce management is preferred.

• Must have a solid understanding of accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

• Experience in auditing, including planning and executing audits, is a requirement.

• Familiarity with budget processes, including planning, forecasting, and variance analysis is needed.

• Demonstrated knowledge of capital management, including monitoring and managing cash flow and capital expenditure.
