Job Overview:

The Principal ServiceNow Developer will lead the design, development, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform to support mission-critical healthcare operations. This senior role requires deep expertise in ITSM Pro, HRSD Enterprise, ITOM Visibility, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and CMDB. The position provides guidance on, assists in establishing, and participates in technical governance processes. The role collaborates on the design and implementation of a platform operating model that improves likelihood of successful go-lives and end-user adoption. Principal Developer provide technical evaluation of strategic and operational demands against the ServiceNow platform architecture, platform capabilities, and leading practices. The ideal candidate will drive architectural governance, system scalability, and process efficiency, ensuring the platform meets the complex needs of a healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ A Bachelor s degree is required in computer science, computer engineering or programming preferred or relevant work experience.

+ 7+ years experience ServiceNow development, solution design, and implementation.

+ Up-to-date knowledge of different programming languages, such JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and CSS.

+ Knowledge of ITIL Processes.

+ Expertise in ITSM Pro, HRSD Enterprise, ITOM Visibility, Hardware Asset Management, and CMDB.

+ Deep understanding of CMDB governance, Service Mapping, and Discovery tools.

+ Expertise in integrating ServiceNow with external systems via API.

+ Ability and willingness to work independently and efficiently.

+ Desire to work collaboratively to ensure effective execution of project deadlines.

+ Strongly detail-oriented with an ability to quickly identify and solve programming errors.

+ Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.

+ Great attention to detail and time-management skills.

Certifications and Licenses Required:

+ ServiceNow Certified System Administrator

+ ServiceNow Certified Application Developer

+ Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, and HRSD, or ITOM

Scheduling Requirements:

+ Full-time, Day

Essential Functions:

+ Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions that align with Healthcare IT best practices, security, and compliance.

+ Translate business requirements into robust, scalable ServiceNow solutions that improve clinical and IT operations.

+ Architect and deploy scalable ServiceNow solutions across ITSM Pro, HRSD Enterprise, and App Engine

+ Provide technical insight in designing and supporting ServiceNow while aligning to Service Management standard methodologies

+ Integration development and maintenance

+ Implement HRSD solutions to streamline employee onboarding, case management, and lifecycle events for a workforce of over 40,000 employees.

+ Continuous knowledge gathering related to current ServiceNow functionality as well as future releases

+ Assist in training, documentation, and overall support

+ Identify bugs/defects and resolutions to ensure platform functions as designed Available for on-call and after-hours support and responding to escalations in a timely manner. Carry company provided mobile phone, and answer your phone, texts in a timely manner.

+ Provide thorough documentation and timely updates within ITSM ticketing system.

+ Aids management in collecting and analyzing data regarding ServiceNow performance and utilization.

+ Assists in training new team members and ITIL/Business stakeholders when needed.

+ Knowledgeable on all our ServiceNow offerings and identifies areas to utilize our modules more efficiently.

+ Assists leadership with identifying areas of improvement on the platform.
