Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in Goleta, California. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to billing operations, ensure accuracy, and maintain essential financial records. The role is ideal for someone seeking consistent part-time hours with flexibility during regular business hours.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing and distributing invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner.

• Provide support for billing-related inquiries and resolve tickets promptly.

• Maintain and update billing records and financial databases to ensure accuracy.

• Serve as a backup for the primary billing specialist when needed.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient billing processes and compliance.

• Handle accounts receivable and payable tasks as required.

• Answer inbound calls related to billing and provide excellent customer service.

• Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures while performing duties.

Requirements • Basic knowledge of accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.

• Familiarity with computerized billing systems and accounting software, such as Rev.io, Excel, and QuickBooks.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

• Excellent communication skills for addressing client inquiries and collaborating with the team.

• Previous experience with financial services software or related tools is a plus.

• Availability to work onsite in Goleta, California, with a consistent part-time schedule.

• Open to entry-level candidates, including current college students.
