Description We are looking for a skilled Loan Processor to support our team in Santa Clara, California. This Contract-to-Permanent position involves managing loan documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and facilitating seamless fund disbursements. The ideal candidate will excel at maintaining accuracy, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and adhering to deadlines.
Responsibilities:
• Review and verify loan closing documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
• Coordinate with title companies, escrow officers, and borrowers to facilitate a smooth loan closing process.
• Prepare and authorize wire instructions for loan funding while confirming receipt of required documentation.
• Ensure all conditions and stipulations are met prior to finalizing fund disbursements.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and investor regulations, ensuring all loan files meet quality control standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact between loan officers, processors, and funding departments to streamline communication.
• Provide timely updates to borrowers and stakeholders throughout the loan closing process.
• Address and resolve any issues related to closing or funding promptly and effectively.
• Accurately input loan data into the system and generate necessary reports.
• Collaborate on process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan processing, post-closing, or mortgage operations.
• Proficiency with loan origination systems and document management platforms is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of loan closing, funding, and post-closing processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing loan documentation.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
