Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves conducting market research, financial analysis, and documentation to support IT infrastructure projects and ongoing enterprise services. As a long-term contract position, it offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to strategic decision-making processes. The Senior Business Analyst offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough market research to identify trends and pricing models related to IT services.

• Analyze data on current usage and consumption to inform strategic decisions.

• Assist in developing financial requirements and scenarios for new IT solicitations.

• Create reports, presentations, and visual aids to effectively communicate financial findings.

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to support sourcing and procurement needs.

• Collaborate with teams to evaluate suppliers and make data-driven decisions.

• Document processes and workflows to enhance the Market and Analysis Program.

• Provide backup support for the Market and Analytics Insights Manager during meetings.

• Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to support financial modeling and evaluations.

• Build segmentation views for entities utilizing organizational contracts.

Requirements • Extensive experience in financial modeling, data analysis, and procurement evaluations.

• Proficiency in creating effective PowerPoint presentations to summarize complex findings.

• Strong skills in SQL, Power BI, and other data visualization tools.

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information systems, or a related field preferred.

• Aptitude for understanding IT commodities and their financial implications.

• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
