Controller

A well-established and dynamic organization is seeking a Controller to lead and oversee its accounting operations. This role plays a key leadership position in ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide strategic oversight of fiscal operations, ensuring strong internal controls and the safeguarding of assets.

+ Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including receipts, disbursements, budgeting, ACH and wire transactions.

+ Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax and regulatory requirements.

+ Maintain the general ledger in accordance with GAAP and ensure timely and accurate month-end close processes.

+ Prepare journal entries, financial statements, and account reconciliations.

+ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce redundancy.

+ Manage relationships with external CPA for corporate tax filings and annual financial reviews.

+ Support the CFO with cash flow forecasting and cash management strategies.

+ Coordinate with internal departments across multiple locations to maintain consistency and service excellence.

+ Lead and manage a team of 4–6 accounting and administrative staff.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000

- PTO: Sick leave is accrued at the rate of 1.00 hour for every 40.00 hours worked. Vacation is accrued at the rate of 1.54 hours per pay period for your first year of employment. This increases to 3.08 hours per pay period your second year. Plus 6 paid holidays per year.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Proven experience in a senior accounting or controller-level role.

+ Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance requirements.

+ Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

+ Exceptional analytical and organizational abilities.

+ Ability to build cross-functional relationships and drive continuous improvement.
