Description We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Public Accounting Tax Manager to join our thriving team in Livingston, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing tax preparation, review, and compliance efforts for small to mid-sized businesses across industries such as construction, detail-oriented services, and real estate. Responsibilities:

• Manage tax preparation and review processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Provide expert guidance on tax-related matters for small to mid-sized businesses in construction, real estate, and detail-oriented services.

• Collaborate with clients to develop tailored tax strategies and solutions.

• Oversee compliance efforts, ensuring all filings and documentation meet federal and state requirements.

• Utilize advanced accounting software systems such as CCH ProSystem Fx and CaseWare to streamline workflows.

• Lead audits and annual income tax provisions with precision and attention to detail.

• Assist in entity formation processes and provide strategic advice on tax implications.

• Train and mentor less experienced team members to enhance their technical skills and industry knowledge.

• Contribute to maintaining the firm’s reputation for exceptional client service and long-term employee satisfaction. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax preparation, review, and compliance.

• Proven expertise working with small to mid-sized businesses, particularly in construction, real estate, and detail-oriented services.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems such as CCH ProSystem Fx, CaseWare, and ADP.

• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s degree in Taxation preferred.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
