Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Sr. Functional Architect who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Role:** **SAP FICO Functional Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Sr. Functional Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP FICO and related modules as well as a strong background in IT business support and industrial manufacturing. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of SAP functionalities to drive business solutions and improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP FICO solutions to meet business requirements.

• Oversee the integration of SAP Taxation Cost Center Accounting Profit Center Accounting and New GL functionalities.

• Provide expertise in SAP Internal Orders Classic GL Credit Management and Profitability Analysis.

• Ensure the effective use of SAP Product Costing Automatic Payments Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable modules.

• Manage SAP Asset Management and FICO configurations to optimize financial processes.

• Collaborate with IT business support teams to align SAP solutions with business needs.

• Support industrial manufacturing processes through tailored SAP functionalities.

• Conduct thorough analysis of business processes to identify areas for improvement.

• Develop and maintain documentation for SAP configurations and processes.

• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of SAP systems.

• Monitor and troubleshoot SAP system issues to ensure smooth operations.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP modules.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SAP system performance.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP FICO and related modules.

• Demonstrate expertise in SAP Taxation Cost Center Accounting and Profit Center Accounting.

• Have a strong understanding of SAP New GL Internal Orders and Classic GL.

• Show proficiency in SAP Credit Management Profitability Analysis and Product Costing.

• Be skilled in SAP Automatic Payments Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

• Have experience in SAP Asset Management and FICO configurations.

• Exhibit knowledge of IT business support and industrial manufacturing processes.

• Be capable of conducting detailed business process analysis.

• Have excellent documentation and training skills.

• Be adept at troubleshooting and resolving SAP system issues.

• Possess strong collaboration and communication skills.

• Be committed to driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Have a hybrid work model flexibility with no travel requirements.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $138,000 - $162,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
