    Lead Java FS developer (Hybrid)

     

    We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Java FS developer On-site with 10+ years experience with domain expertise in Pharmacy Benefit Management to join our complementary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Portlets JSP, Java and Struts. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel requirements. This position will play a crucial role in designing and implementing solutions.

    Responsibilities

    + 10+ years of experience Hands on in backend and front end technologies

    + Develop and maintain web applications using Java Struts 6.7 JSP and associated technologies.

    + Design and implement user interfaces using JSP and Struts taglibs (e.g. html bean logic).

    + Write clean well-documented and maintainable Java code.

    + Participate in code reviews and contribute to the teams technical knowledge base.

    + Collaborate with other developers designers and product managers to ensure successful application development.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to web applications.

    + Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure the quality of the code.

    + Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in web application development.

    + Contribute to the design and architecture of web applications.

    + Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

    Qualifications

    + 10+ years experience with domain expertise in Pharmacy Benefit Management

    + Apply Agile methodologies for software development.

    + Work with databases (e.g. MySQL Oracle SQL Server) and SQL.

    + Hands on experience in developing Mockito test cases and code coverage

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    Applications will be accepted until May 30th, 2025.

     

    The annual salary for this position is between $120K – $141K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

     

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
