• Senior Systems Administrator

    Description

    We're seeking a skilled Senior Systems Administrator to lead the management, optimization, and security of our core infrastructure. The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, health, and security of enterprise systems, including cloud and on-premise environments. This individual will play a critical role in infrastructure design, system upgrades, automation, and high-level support, ensuring maximum uptime and performance.

     

    + Manage, monitor, and maintain Windows and Linux servers in both cloud (Azure/AWS) and on-prem environments.

    + Oversee Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity/access management.

    + Plan and implement system upgrades, patches, and security enhancements.

    + Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting tools.

    + Manage storage systems, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and backup/recovery solutions.

    + Collaborate with security teams to enforce compliance and harden infrastructure.

    + Serve as escalation point for critical system issues and provide mentorship to junior administrators.

    + Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.

    Requirements

    + 5+ years of experience in systems administration or related IT infrastructure roles.

    + Strong expertise in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms.

    + Experience with Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud environments.

    + Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred).

    + In-depth understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and system security.

    + Familiarity with monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Datadog).

    + Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
