Purpose
As the Electric Operations Supervisor, you'll be the go-to leader for our front-line electrical utility teams. You’ll coordinate daily operations across substations, transmission, and distribution systems, ensuring every project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. You will report to the Senior Manager of Operations.
Accountabilities
+ Lead and mentor frontline crews, contractors, and field teams
+ Support work dispatch and scheduling through internal systems (e.g., CLICK, SAP)
+ Monitor and report progress on construction and maintenance projects
+ Collaborate across departments: Engineering, Substations, Dispatch, System Control, and more
+ Ensure compliance with OSHA, GO 95, GO 165, GO 174, and GO 128 regulations
+ Perform safety observations, field visits, and leadership engagement
+ Coordinate outage planning and project timelines with internal and external stakeholders
+ Manage tools, vehicles, and compliance with DOT and safety standards
+ Respond to customer inquiries and resolving operational challenges in real time
+ Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
Education and Experience
+ Bachelors degree or professional program in relevant field
+ 3+ years of experience in electric utility operations or related field, plus 1+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience
+ Strong understanding of underground and overhead electric line construction
+ Working knowledge of OSHA 1910.269, GO 95, GO 165, GO 174, and GO 128
+ Experience managing unionized teams
+ Familiarity with scheduling software, SAP, and GIS/mapping applications
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
+ Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and support a safety-first culture
+ Comfortable with field-based leadership and hands-on supervision
+ Strong coordination and planning skills across departments and with external vendors
+ Enthusiasm for continuous learning, innovation, and employee development

Compensation
Expected pay: $102,004 - $127,505 per year
Full salary range $102,004 - $153,006 per year
_*Liberty considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education, training and skills, and geographic location. Base pay for this role is expected to fall within the min to mid-point._
