    Plastic & Hand Surgery PA – Work with a Leading Surgical Team

     

    Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center seeks a Physician Assistant to join our vibrant plastic and hand surgery practice. You will work closely with two engaging and energetic plastic surgeons and two new PAs.

    Position Highlights:

    • Reconstructive plastic surgery, traumatic and elective hand surgery, skin cancer, body contouring, microsurgery, breast reconstruction, and support of our tertiary care center colleagues in specialties such as orthopedics, general trauma, ENT, neurosurgery, etc.

    • Responsibilities include: Predominantly office based seeing office and floor consults, surgical follow ups, inpatient rounds

    • Graded autonomy in office procedures such as lesion biopsy, wound closure, incision and drainage, steroid injections

    • Possible half day protected administrative duties

    • Call schedule of 1 in 5, including 1 weekend and 3 weekdays covering plastic surgery established patients (no hand call)

    • New graduates and experienced candidates are both encouraged to apply!
