• Feed Mill Operator Hourly (3rd Shift)

    Description

    The Feed Mill Control Operator is responsible for manufacturing feed in accordance with standard operating procedures established at the feed mill. Also responsible for operating the computer automation systems required to receive ingredients, grind grains, mix and pellet feed. Operate processing equipment according to established standard operating procedures. Partner will also perform housekeeping activities, quality checks on feed and ingredients, maintenance and repair of equipment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities listed below include, but are not limited to:

    + Operate pelleting, grinding, and batching equipment.

    + Manufacture feed in accordance with QA policies, standard operating procedures and current GMP’s.

    + Sample ingredients and perform quality assurance tests.

    + Collect feed samples in accordance with sampling plan.

    + Perform micro handling and housekeeping duties.

    + Monitor equipment and process and report maintenance or production issues to feed mill management.

    + Ability to operate a forklift, lift up to 60 lbs., climb ladders and operate pallet jack.
