SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE AND FUNCTION:
We are searching for a detailed oriented, collaborative and result driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our team as a **Sr. Financial Analyst, Compensation & Business Partner.**
You will be responsible for:
+ Position Management and Compensation Planning & Forecasting: In this role, you will own and partner with People and Organization, Department Heads, and manager in building a clear position management plan that is the bases for compensation management.
+ Full ownership of budget, actual, and Forecast for the Support Office's Enrollment, along with Salary, Benefits, and Incentives.
+ Reporting: Build reports and establish process to align our Senior Leadership Team on vacancies, new role requests, role upgrades or downgrades and any other position request that requires funding and approval.
+ Preparation of compensation related modelling and analytics to create senior management exhibits and presenting to management teams to make critical business decision.
+ Analytical support and finance partnership: Play a critical role in the assessment of reorganizations, and promotions.
+ Compensation as part of the annual budgeting process: Collaborate as a member of the Finance Business Partnership team to assess Compensation (Salaries, Wages, Benefits, and Long-Term incentives).
+ Payroll actual understanding: Partner with our Accounting Team throughout the year to understand Payroll actuals, Variances vs. vs. Plan and Headcount reporting.
+ Dashboard reporting: Establish reporting that clearly outlines headcount reporting at VCA by key stakeholders, division, markets.
+ Assistance to Talent Acquisition in confirming salary offers vs. Plan and management of job requisitions according to Plan.
+ Business Partner for Corporate Affairs and Legal organizations: own the overheads financial governance for these organizations, including budget management, forecasting, financial reporting, and relationship building with their Department Heads and Senior Leaders.
You will make an impact by:
+ **Value Creation** - Building Best in Class reporting and process on compensation and position management – You will act as Finance single point of contact to P&O and Senior Leaders with regards to Workforce and Compensation of Corp support office. You manage position tracker accurately, while providing analytical insights on compensation, trends, actual vs. Plan, scenarios, and gap analysis.
+ **Managing the Financial Planning Cycle and Risk Management Process for Overheads for Corporate Affairs and Legal:** You will partner with the Senior Manager Business Partner and the Senior Leaders of Corporate Affairs and Legal in the AEP, forecast and planning process, preparation of periodic governance decks, scenario planning analysis, and gap closing measures. You are responsive, collaborative, accountable and act with a sense of urgency to support the needs of the Senior Leaders.
+ **Impact Communication** – You will drive clarity around Compensation budget management and Overheads, review of actuals vs. Plan, Risk and Opportunity management.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
+ Assist with the annual financial planning and budgeting processes
+ Position Management and Compensation Planning & Forecasting
+ Payroll actual understanding: track, identify trends, and research variance to Plan, Prior Year and Forecast. Follow through and proactively identify opportunities for improvements.
+ Business Partner for Corporate Affairs and Legal organizations: business support, prepare and lead periodic Governance reviews, actual vs. Plan, Forecasting and gap analysis
+ Capability development and automation of reporting
+ Other projects or duties as assigned by the Sr. Manager, Finance Business Partnership
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
+ Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or Data Management
+ A minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in a Compensation Analyst/HR Finance Analyst/ or FP&A. Prior experience in driving reporting capabilities around Headcount management and Compensation.
+ 3+ Years of experience with Dashboard designs (Anaplan, Smartsheets or any other BI tool), Data analysis and automation of reporting. Advanced with Microsoft Office and specifically with Excel (macros, formulas. Etc).
+ Highest work ethic standards around confidentiality. You will be expected to manage and access highly confidential information, use it for business matters only, and never disclose personal identifiable information.
+ Ability to read, write, and speak English
PREFFERED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
+ Experience in health care, retail, consumer-oriented or multi-site industry.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Ability to demonstrate deep expertise in financial modeling and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and corporate finance.
+ Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Ability to self-motivate. You must exhibit a growth mentality and a desire to build organizations and best in class processes.
+ Ability to generate output with a very high degree of quality and attention to detail.
+ Ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.

Additional Information:
Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $88,205 - $110,000. **_Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location_** .
