Job Summary

Seeking a Loader Operator for efficient and safe transportation of various materials at our Lippert aggregate site. This is a union position.

Rate $19.92/hr - $22.86/hr per union contact

Main Responsibilities

+ Promote safe work practices and an excellent safety environment

+ Responsible for safe and efficient operation of all equipment

+ Complete daily inspections and maintenance checklist

+ Participate in pre-shift safety huddles

+ Perform routine maintenance and various equipment repairs as needed

+ Responsible for reporting incidents and accidents to supervisors

+ Responsible to report to Plant Superintendent or Supervisors of any potential safety hazards

+ Complete additional tasks as assigned

Skills

+ Ability to operate equipment efficiently

+ Ability to communicate with supervisors and peers

+ Self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes

+ Ability to perform tasks as given from supervisors as well as work as part of a team

+ Ability to adapt to changing conditions

Physical Requirements

+ Able to work in various outdoor weather conditions

+ Able to stand, walk, sit, enter and exit large equipment

+ Able to use arms, hands, and fingers

+ Able to lift and handle objects
