Job Summary:
Maintenance Mechanic Technician is responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair of all plant production and support equipment. Responsible for finding replacement parts or a means of repairing damaged parts.
You will:
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems that occur on production and facility equipment
+ Work with others as well as independently
+ Read blueprints and set up procedures
+ Operate several electrical test devices including digital multi-meters, amp meters, oscilloscope, etc.
+ Machine Programming
+ Troubleshooting relay logic, control system devices, analog input/output devices, and similar equipment
+ Perform calibration of precision devices related to measurement of process variables. (i.e. temperature, pressure, flow, etc..).
+ Perform preventative maintenance on equipment including inspection, lubrication, and evaluation
+ Maintain, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems.
+ Must be able to read, understand, and create electrical and mechanical blueprints, assembly drawings, equipment manuals, control schematics, ladder logic and other technical manuals
+ Must have a complete understanding of analog and digital control signals and power distribution systems – including but not limited to 0-10VDC, 4-20MA, 24 VDC, 120VAC control circuits, and 480VAC motor circuits
+ Experience in programming and troubleshooting HMI and PLC controlled systems
+ Process control experience
+ Knowledge and understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
+ Ability to work with 3 phase 240/480 and single phase 220/110 voltage systems
+ Knowledge and understanding of induction heating equipment
+ Ability to repair and maintain equipment with or without documentation
+ Ability to document your own work and be able to generate repair manuals and preventative maintenance procedures for equipment
+ Be able to respond immediately to equipment related problems and maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to ensure minimal down time.
+ Maintains an organized, clean, safe work area.
+ Able to work independently in performing various equipment maintenance tasks.
Abilities Required:
+ Experience in programing and troubleshooting HMI
+ Process Control Experience.
+ Knowledge and understanding of lockout/Tag out procedures
+ Good manual dexterity

+ Apprentice program or equivalent experience

+ Responding to alarm troubles / call ins after hours
You have:
+ Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents. Ability to communicate effectively to team members and management.
+ Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.
+ AAS in Electrical/Mechanical Technology
+ Apprenticeship Program
+ AAS Degree with (5) years minimum experience preferred, but not required

Environment & Physical Demands:
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand: use hands to fingers, handle or feel: and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch: and talk and hear.
+ The job may involve prolong periods of sitting/standing.
+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May involve prolonged periods of magnified inspection (eye strain).
+ Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp.
+ The employee is frequently required to use the computer.
+ May involve the use of oils and solvents.
+ Subject to some soilage and irritation from cleaning solutions. (Lab Coats provided)
+ Generally works in a clean environment and works to maintain the environment as such.
+ Safety Glasses are required and May require area specific safety training
+ This position works in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
+ The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne paper particles
May work at different workstations as production needs require, or shifts from one station to another, during the production process.

C Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 10pm - 6:30am. New Hires may be required to train on a Day shift schedule for 2-4 weeks.
