Air & Thermal Controls (A&TC) is a $2B Gold Business Enterprise (GBE) within the Control Systems Strategic Business Unit (SBU) of Honeywell Aerospace Technologies. A&TC offers a wide range of air management and thermal control products and services to Honeywell customers, including aircraft manufacturers, operators, and agencies of the U.S. Government as well as to foreign militaries.
Position Overview
As a Sr. Product Manager at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and profitability by aligning our offerings with growth industries and end segments. You will be responsible for developing and managing the product offerings within the Integrated Systems product portfolio, encompassing product management, marketing, and sales enablement activities. You will work with different functional groups to ensure successful product launches and manage the product lifecycle. Key responsibilities include identifying market needs, developing business cases, and leading new product introductions.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Market Research and Analysis:
Identify market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to inform product strategy and development.
+ Product Strategy and Roadmap:
Develop and maintain a clear product vision, roadmap, and strategy, aligned with business objectives.
+ New Product Introduction (NPI):
Lead NPI projects, ensuring timely and successful product launches.
+ Business Case Development:
Create and manage business cases for new products and initiatives, including cost analysis and ROI.
+ Value Proposition Development:
Define and communicate the unique value proposition of products and solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
+ Sales Enablement:
Develop and deliver sales enablement materials and training to support sales efforts.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure product success.
+ Voice of Customer and Sales:
Gather and analyze customer feedback and sales insights to improve products and services.
+ Competitive Analysis:
Conduct competitive research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
+ Financial Modeling:
Develop and manage financial models to support product strategy and decisions.
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
Compensation: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $181,000 – $230,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in offering management or related roles
• Proven track record of driving product growth and capturing market opportunities
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
