Financial / Business Intelligence Analyst

Remote – Puerto Rico | Full-Time | Day Shift

At **Client** , our financial success is driven by data-driven insights and strategic analysis. We are seeking a **Financial / Business Intelligence Analyst** who thrives working with large data sets, business intelligence (BI) tools, and financial analytics to drive impactful business decisions.

In this role, you will utilize data visualization, automation, and advanced analytics to support financial planning, forecasting, and performance evaluation. You will collaborate closely with finance, operations, and other key business units to enhance decision-making and improve financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Data & Business Intelligence

+ Manage and analyze large data sets with a focus on accuracy and consistency.

+ Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

+ Automate data retrieval and reporting using SQL, Python, or similar tools.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

+ Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.

+ Develop KPIs and metrics to measure profitability, cost efficiency, and trends.

+ Perform in-depth trend analysis across revenue, expenses, and operations.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Decision Support

+ Support budgeting and forecasting through financial models aligned with business goals.

+ Deliver real-time financial insights and scenario analysis for strategic initiatives.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions.

Process Optimization & Compliance

+ Improve financial and BI processes to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.

+ Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

+ Identify and implement automation opportunities.

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.

+ Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).

+ Experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.

+ Advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros).

+ Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R (preferred).

+ Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Data Analytics, etc.).

+ Relevant certifications (CPA, CFA, CBIP).

+ Experience in healthcare finance (a plus).

+ Strong cross-functional collaboration experience.

Physical Requirements

+ Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

+ Ability to lift up to 15 pounds intermittently.

**Pay Details:** $24.00 to $30.00 per hour
