Machine Operator (No CNC)

Adecco is partnering with a leading single-source provider of concrete accessories in Sumner, WA to hire for an experienced, motivated, and reliable Machine Operator to join their team.

This role involves operating a unique, non-computerized analog machine designed for the production of concrete snap ties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, as well as experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly with metal fabrication.

Responsibilities:

+ Operate and maintain the analog machine to produce concrete snap ties.

+ Monitor and inspect production each step of the way to identify defects, if defects are found, stop the machine to diagnose and properly adjust machine settings to fix.

+ Prepare machine to start a production cycle, performing calibration, cleaning and other activities.

+ Supply raw material to the machine (steel rods or wire coils).

+ Check parts with precision using appropriate measuring tools.

+ Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

+ Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

+ Experience as a machine operator, preferably in metal fabrication.

+ Equipment maintenance and safety protocols.

+ Basic troubleshooting skills.

+ Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

+ Proficiency with hand tools.

+ Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.

+ Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

+ Physical stamina and strength for demanding tasks.

+ Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.

+ Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Shifts Available:

+ 1st Shift – Monday-Friday/7:30am-4pm – Pay Rate $26/hr.

+ 2nd Shift – Monday-Friday/3:30am-11pm – Pay Rate $26.25/hr.

**Pay Details:** $26.00 to $26.25 per hour
