    Job Description

    The successful candidate will support a government team at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The primary function is to serve as a special access programs (SAP) security specialist, providing expert technical guidance in the complex area of SAP; classification management program; security violations; security education and awareness training; and security surveys and special programs security inspections for assigned programs.

     

    Essential Job Responsibilities

     

    + Reports to the Chief SAPF/SCIF Operations

    + Ensures SAP responsibilities are fully coordinated with the Chief, and closely worked with SAPF/SCIF Operations Government Security Officer (GSSO) to accomplish critical tasks.

    + Performs duties as the support contractor and cooperate with GSSO per Chief of the AWAF SAPF/SCIF Operations for assigned programs/activity as defined in guidance

    + Assists GSSO with maintaining security oversight of SAP activity

    + Represents organization and various oversight organizations as well as government customers and contracted organizations in the absence of the Chief and GSSO

    Minimum Qualifications

    + 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.

    + Current TS Clearance must be SCI and SAP Eligible

    + 3 years experience administering and maintaining SAP

    + Knowledge of SCI and SAP facility builds

    + Experience inside SCIF/SAPFs

    + Experience with the MicroSoft programs (Excel, Word, etc)

    + Knowledge of the DCID regulations (075, 704)

    + Working knowledge of DODM 5205.07

    Preferred Requirements

    + SSO experience administering SCI desired

    Physical Requirements

    May be required to visit program or customer environment.
