This position will be a key contributor in projects and efforts utilizing cloud infrastructure platforms and standards, as well as supporting existing on-premise platforms. This position will also learn and apply development methodologies to automate and codify cloud infrastructure, increasing the agility with which infrastructure can be deployed and maintained.
Responsibilities
+ Be part of a cloud infrastructure team which focuses on providing and supporting solutions in the public cloud
+ Participate in projects to migrate existing workloads to the cloud following established standards
+ Ensure that security and governance standards are maintained for workloads and overall environment
+ Automate as much as possible
Qualifications
+ 6+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience with the ability to provide level 3 support for technical issues
+ Experience in a public cloud environment such as Microsoft Azure, Google GCP, AWS or Oracle OCI
+ Experience administering operating systems (Windows and/or Linux)
+ Experience in private cloud environment using VMWare, Hyper-V and Redhat Openshift
+ Experience deploying and supporting hybrid infrastructures of both private and public clouds
+ Solid scripting experience with Ansible, Powershell, python and Bash
+ Ability to contribute to the development of and maintain a cloud governance framework
+ Good understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, basic routing and firewalls
+ Understanding of cloud storage (block, object, and file) and Backups
+ Ability to mentor team members and partners
+ Ability to effectively communicate cloud concepts to our customers
+ Ability to lead efforts with minimal supervision
+ Desire to learn and apply new technologies
+ Experience with cloud automation tools, CI/CD pipeline, container technologies
+ Experience with orchestration and automation tools, such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Rancher, OpenStack, OpenShift, etc.
+ Experience with WAN technologies such as MPLS, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Express Connect. Also experience with managing ASG/NSG’s in Azure
+ Understanding of IT Security fundamentals and tools
+ Ability to provide on-call support for technical issues
Education
+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in information technology
