This role is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects and programs, overseeing all aspects to ensure successful delivery. The position involves setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress, with a requirement to summarize project status for upper management. A bachelor's degree and at least seven years of experience in the field or a related area are required. The role demands extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and involves leading and directing the work of others. Creativity and latitude are expected in this position, with reporting typically directed to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate and complete projects/programs, overseeing all aspects.
+ Set deadlines and assign responsibilities to team members.
+ Monitor and summarize project/program progress.
+ Prepare detailed reports for upper management regarding project/program status.
+ Utilize extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
+ Lead and direct the work of others with creativity and latitude.
Essential Skills
+ Proven experience in project management and coordination.
+ Strong vendor management skills.
+ Experience in engineering equipment installation and commissioning.
+ Background in construction, engineering, operations engineering, and material-handling equipment.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Project, and Outlook.
+ Highly proficient CAD skills for developing integrated automation layouts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ 4+ years of experience in roles such as project engineer, process engineer, project manager, or manufacturing engineer.
+ Experience managing automation project budgets ranging from .5 million to 50 million.
+ Technical leadership for large-scale industrial engineering projects.
+ Design and/or implementation experience with integrated automation solutions, including complex material handling systems and high-speed packaging lines.
Work Environment
The role requires up to 100% travel to installation sites throughout the United States, with most travel occurring from Monday to Friday. The position involves traveling to various locations, providing an opportunity to build a substantial internal network and develop project management skills across multiple disciplines. The work environment offers the chance to collaborate with internal vendors and explore different opportunities, enhancing career growth potential.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
