    Job Title: Process Controls Engineer

    Job Description

    The Process Controls Engineer is responsible for all control systems within the LNG facility. This role involves collaborating with technicians and other engineers on control system philosophies, architectures, and modifying programming as needed for PLC’s and HMI applications.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain and modify existing systems including Rockwell ControlLogix PLC’s and WonderWare HMI applications.

    + Implement control changes in an operating environment (graphics, logic, alarm setpoints, tuning, etc.).

    + Troubleshoot and resolve control system and WonderWare performance issues.

    + Provide technical oversight of process control systems, safety instrumented systems, and data acquisition systems.

    + Maintain control system documentation (Cause/Effect Diagrams) and software version control.

    + Maintain and troubleshoot SCADA servers, switches, and computers on the controls network.

    + Provide support for the maintenance of the hardware and software associated with the Operator Training Simulator.

    + Interface with vendors/suppliers to determine proper control system solutions and applications.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

    + Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial automation software.

    + Ability to read and interpret logic diagrams, loop drawings, P&IDs, and other diagrams.

    + Knowledge and experience in safe handling practices of flammable gases, liquids, and high/low-pressure systems.

    + 7+ years’ experience in troubleshooting various controls-related issues in an operating plant environment, preferably LNG, pipeline, or petrochemical facility.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must possess a valid driver's license and meet company insurability requirements.

    + May be required to achieve and maintain certifications as required to perform job duties.

    Work Environment

    May work in low-lit areas. Depending upon the location and workload, travel will be required, which will vary depending upon business needs. Be available for shift work when applicable. Must respond to and address callouts and emergencies after regular business hours including after dark hours, which may require carrying a communication device.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $185000.00/yr.
