    Job Description

    The Safety Coordinator is responsible for conducting safety inspections, audits, and reports at a construction site. Equipped with a laptop and an onsite vehicle, the coordinator will travel throughout the facility to ensure compliance with safety standards. This role involves working closely with a team of safety personnel and reporting directly to the Director of Safety. Upon project completion, there may be opportunities to work on other locations as needed.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct site walk downs

    + Perform craft labor safety inspections

    + Provide site training

    + Complete daily reporting

    + Update OSHA 300 log for recordables

    + Ensure safe construction practices are implemented

    Essential Skills

    + Safety audit and inspection experience

    + Proficiency in safety reporting

    + Management skills in safety

    + Knowledge of OSHA regulations

    + Experience in construction safety

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 5+ years of construction safety experience

    + Certified Health and Safety Technician (CHST)

    + Previous wind farm experience (nice to have)

    Work Environment

    The role is based onsite at a wind farm construction site. The work environment requires wearing protective gear such as a hard hat, boots, glasses, gloves, and a protective vest. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment with significant responsibilities. The work schedule includes 5-10 hour shifts, with Saturday as a make-up day, at the address 1163 NM 469, San Jon, NM.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
