Job Description: PCB Layout Engineer
We are seeking a skilled PCB Layout Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Siemens Xpedition and will be responsible for driving the placement and routing of Printed Wiring Boards (PWB). This role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure the successful development and assembly of high-quality PCBs.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Drive Placement and Routing of PWB: Utilize Siemens Xpedition to efficiently place and route components on printed wiring boards, ensuring optimal performance and manufacturability.
+ Work with Timing and Power Constraints: Collaborate with SI/PI engineers to implement constraint-driven layout and routing for signal and power integrity.
+ Assist in Development of Stackup: Work closely with the design team to develop and optimize PCB stackups, considering signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal management.
+ Component Footprint Identification: Collaborate with the component library group to identify and define new component footprints, ensuring accurate and up-to-date library management.
+ Issue Resolution with CM and PWB Vendor: Partner with Contract Manufacturers (CM) and PWB vendors to facilitate issue resolution related to build and assembly requirements, ensuring smooth production processes.

Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
+ Proven experience in PCB layout design using Siemens Xpedition.
+ Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and assembly requirements.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with high-speed digital and analog circuit design.
+ Knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity principles.
+ Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for PCB design.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00/hr.
